Sidewalk Sunday School:  A ministry to the community. We travel to Kimsey Apartments in our purple van (known as “The Zone”) that opens up into a stage. There, we engage children with music, games, and object lessons and provide them with food. Our goal is to minister the love of Jesus to the children of the community. The service occurs once per month on Friday night at 7:00 pm. The service is usually about an hour in length.

Bread Run: This is a ministry to the community. We purchase loaves of “fresh bread” and place upon them the scripture from John 6:35, where Jesus states that he is the Bread of Life. We carry the bread to the housing authorities and deliver it from door-to-door. Our goal is to share the love of Jesus with everyone. Many times, there are people who simply need to know that someone cares about them and that Jesus loves them.

“Feed the Multitude”: Every Thanksgiving, we prepare meals to carry to the community. Turkeys are cooked all night long and members cook all the trimmings. We come together on Thursday morning, prepare the meals and deliver them. Again, this is a ministry to the community to let people know that God loves them and that there are people who care for and love them too.

Food Pantry: This ministry is available to everyone. The Food Pantry is located in the church. The food within the pantry is purchased from the North Georgia Food Bank. On the first Wednesday of every month, from 7-8 P.M., the pantry is open for everyone.

Student Minstries: Our student ministries is called “The Living Room.” Our student ministry leader is Devin Gore. Devin is a wonderful young man with a heart for young people. He has a gift of relating to all types of young people. He ministers through the Word and song. Devin’s vision is to build a community of students that learns, feels and experiences the love of Jesus. His desire is that students can find a place in Christ where they belong. Services are on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. They meet in their own house below the church… “The Youth House.”

Kids’ Church: This is a ministry to our children. We believe that our children should learn about the Lord at a young age. We use Powerpoints, videos, music, prizes etc. We do not feel that our children should just be “babysat”; rather, they should grow up in the Lord and become active particpants in His work. The service is similar in format to Sidewalk Sunday School.

Sunday Service: Our services contain a diverse mix of Praise and Worship music. We sing a variety of music, from “Hillsong” to hymns and contemporary to classic. We want everyone to feel welcome and engaged in worship. This is why we have a diverse worship service. After we enter into worship, the Word is delivered. We believe that it is important to enter into the Lord’s presence so that we can hear and respond to the Word of God.

Wednesday Evening: Service starts at 7:00 pm. This service consists of a short time of worship followed by teaching.
